Personal

About Me:: I am a mother of 7. Four girls and 3 boys. My family is very important to me. My oldest daughter is in the Navy she works intelligence for the President, my next daughter just finished her AS, AA in teaching, my next daughter is in Medical School, My oldest son is finishing his BS and is just starting with the Police Dept as a cop, he starts Law school in January, he wants to work for FBI. My next son just graduated HS and wants to go to Med school, my next son is in 9th grade and wants to go to Annapolis, he wants to command his own ship, high goals are good! My other daughter is still in middle school she has not decided between nursing or medical schooI. I work around school schedules, now I have left my full time position and found a per-diem position close to home. I spent the first half of my career in Labor and delivery and NICU, I taught childbirth education and breast feeding classes. I absolutely love patient care and education. I moved into home health primarily OB and Peds and now am doing geriatric patient's as well. I am PICC certified and just completed my wound care certification. I pride myself on being a patient advocate. I treat my patients with respect and consideration, exactly what I myself would want for me and my family. I stand up for my patients and their rights, I have gone nose to nose with many an MD and have no problem doing it again.
Hobbies:: Camping, Church Activities, Dining Out, Photography, Scrapbooking, Traveling, Motor homing and boating, scouting

With 7 kiddos I imagine you ARE BUSY...Thanks for the invite... Isn't it nice to have a profession that you can find work hours that flex around family. It has not always been like that !!! We were discussing what all we can and do encounter in the our Correctionsl Unit and OB was the only thng we could think of we do not have !! We have between 1600 and 1800 male potential patients !!
