About Me:
I am a 45 year old female who is just a couple months away from taking NCLEX-PN. Nursing has been a dream of mine and I feel very blessed to be able to pursue this dream. I have a husband, who raises cattle, 2 daughters, one is 24 and gave me my first grandbaby in June 2007! My youngest daughter is a freshman in high school and so far hasn't given me any grief! LOL!! I'm praying that she stays the same sweet person she is.

    Hi, glad to know someone my age going into nursing. I don't fee so odd. Read the many comments in changing careers and am sooo..encouraged to move forward. Of course the oppurtunity to make a good income to support my family has played a major part in my desision to leave teaching. Nursing also provides an outlet in which I will do somethiong to help another person. How great is that a career which is both rewarding and fullfilling.
