About Me:
My husband I just celebrated our 10th anniversary, the first for each of us and I also just celebrated my 56th birthday. We just moved to Norfolk, VA with our precious pup, Bella and will likely get another dog in a few weeks. No children, so THESE are our chillens! I do freelance writing, fell into it quite by accident and love it. The cumulative stress of 20+ year in nursing, my favorite area being hospice, made necessary a premature retirement from active practice, but I'm making the most of my nursing background and not long ago, had a column, kind of an "Ask Nurse Annie" in a local paper. Have been published in several major nursing magazines and papers. Just "google" Anne Nowlin. That's me! Kind of fun and really interesting.
