| Description: | Poster calling on women to join the Red Cross during World War I. |
I've always loved the way they portrayed women from this era in posters. The wind in the face look is classic as is the patriotic Woodrow Wilson quote.
this is gooood poster
I wanted to give this a rating of 5 but for some reason cannot get it to work.
I wanted to gove this a rating of 10 but 5 is as high as you can go!
YES! Now that is patriotic. We need more of that in todays world.
Very Patriotic! Just what this country needs now!
Beautiful! Makes me feel very patriotic!
Nurses, this is the perfict way to show how much we care about what we do.
I like the idea of this poster, however she looks a bit too sexy. Nurses should be pictured as confident strong women. Not sexy dainty fragile things.
I enjoy the feeling this poster gives out, especially in this era. You can be beautiful, demure, and patriotic, but still have the strength to have what it takes to be a nurse.
I love this poster.
This is a beautiful poster. What an honor for us nurses to take on such a responsibiliy not everyone can perform. This truely makes me proud.
Very classic!
This is a valuable poster; the artwork is very good: proportions, color-balanced, outstanding theme.....it takes lots of different people no matter what gender, race, creed to make the Red Cross what it is today.
Ahhhh. The joy of a classic angel of mercy holding my flag.
A great tribute to Nurses of the past, present, and future
This is as relevant today as it was during WW 1.
Its the greatest!!!
Nursing shortage even back then. Love this poster
Love it
I am a red cross volunteer , love the poster
I love this poster!
Great poster
I sure like the fact they still sell these vintage posters that portray nurses as sex symbols and nuns.
Great poster, I'm definately going to order me one of these! Cute!
I think this is great.
So dramatic...but a great pict..
This is a poster that every nurse should have at the nurses station.
It is Great!!
I think that my grandfather has this...really old. But it would be nice to have.
This one is beautiful. My fiance has a picture of a nurse tattooed on his leg with my name on it, he would like to get some vintage nurse pictures done as well.
Awesome
I love the look of vintage photos especially when they involve the nursing profession.
Now, this is Nursing in my eyes!! Lay woman signed up for love of country, and duty! How much better can that be!!
