I am just got done taking the medication class and I am getting ready to take the state board to pass meds to the residents. I think that this book was so helpful for me to understand all of the different drugs that is out there.

The 2009 edition is excellent! There is a section on drug classes which is extremely helpful.
I thought that this book was pretty easy to use, had a lot of information and helped me out quite a bit.
