Posted 9 months ago Here's a little test to help you decide. The answer can be found by posing the following question. You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and 2 small children. Suddenly an Islamic Terrorist comes running at you from around the corner, with a knife , screaming obscenities. Praising Allah, he raises the knife and charges toward you . You carry a Glock 40 caliber, and you are an expert shot. You have only seconds to react. What would you do? Think carefully. DEMOCRATIC ANSWER: You would think: there's not enough info availabel to make a rational decision / Is the man poor or oppressed? / Have I ever done anything to this man that would inspire an attack. What is my wife and kids thinking? Can I kick the knife out of his hand? Could we run away? If I use my handgun, what message does this send to my kids and society?: Why is this street so deserted? Should I call 911? I need to discuss this matter with my friends before taking any action. REPUBLICAN ANSWER: BANG! REDNECKS ANSWER: Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang ! Bang! Bang! Bang!Rednecks' Daughter says "Nice shooting Daddy". Redneck's boy: "Can I shoot next?" Redneck's wife " You're not taking that to the taxidermist! We still owe him for the last time". |

| Posted 9 months ago Personally a Glock 40 cal has too much kick for accuracy I would have to go with a Glock 35. Not quite as pricey as a 40 which runs 514.00 with a store coupon. And so much easier to handle, add the optional Pacmeyer grips and you have a decent piece for close quarters. Besides a 40 might hurt the eardrums of the kiddies, can't forget ear protection. | Posted 9 months ago I'm the Democrat-I always ask questions and want to know WHY? (but first of all, I wouldn't have the little kids on a deserted street and I wouldn't carry a Glock. Maybe one of those little pistols I could hide in my purse) |
