Posted 2 months ago The ICU I work for just began using what is called a flexiseal. It is in essence a catheter for the rectum. Tired of wiping your critically ill patients raw? This thing is awesome! The bag gets full you change it. No mess, no problem. No further skin breakdown. Decreased risk for infection. I'm all about it. |

| Posted 2 months ago Yes we have been using them for awhile now and for the most part they have been a good add. Of course you still have some pts' that no matter how you reposition or inflate the balloon they still seem to leak around them.... Anyone else with this problem??? How do you combat it and is thier something we are overlooking???? |
