| Posted about 1 month ago Future nurse here!!! Hopefully that is. Needed shoulder surgery and had to drop the program this year since I wouldn't be able to do clinicals. I have until Feb of 09 to reapply and hope that I'm accepted again for the Fall of 09 program. I'm going to Prairie State Community College in Chicago Heights just south of Chicago. They're supposed to have a great program. I was really excited when I was accepted, and hoping I can get accepted again.

| Posted about 1 month ago Hi there, I am just beginning my nursing journey after spending over 15 years in corporate america. I did very well in that enviornment but always felt that there was something else out there for me. I did the whole "if you could do anything in the world regarless of the pay, what would you do?" After exploring the possbility the eating bon-bons all day was not a viable option, I came back to nursing. Since its been several years since I've recieved my BA, I need to start near the beginning with several pre-reqs. I plan to start in Jan @ MVCC. Good luck to you all. Steph
